Cardiopulmonary Services at KVH Hospital provides a comprehensive program of pulmonary and cardiac services for inpatients and outpatients. Our highly skilled Respiratory Therapists and Exercise Physiologist in conjunction with the KVH Cardiac Clinic staff perform tests to evaluate suspected pulmonary or cardiac disease, provide treatment for pulmonary or cardiac conditions, and educate patients in the specifics of their individualized care. All Respiratory Therapists are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation. Exercise Physiologist is certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Inpatient services include state-of-the-art mechanical ventilation, both non-invasive and invasive; and disease specific breathing treatments.
All diagnostic testing services are available to inpatients and outpatients
