Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Apprenticeship

After completing this program, graduates will take the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam administered by the National Healthcareer Association. The CCMA is a national credential, and it is also one of four exams accepted in Washington State as a pre-requisite to get the Medical Assistant–Certified state credential. Successful program graduates who pass the test will obtain both a state credential (MA-C), which allows them to work at any public or private clinic in Washington State, and a national credential (CCMA), which is accepted by many (but not all) employers in other states.

Apprentices are automatically co-enrolled at one of our partner community colleges. This coenrollment results in college credit at program completion and comes at no extra cost. Sponsored by Washington Association of Community Health

Workplace Violence Prevention Training

When faced with violence and aggression, stress and fear can overwhelm you. Our experienced trainers will teach you how to manage your anxiety and fear while providing proven de-escalation and self-defense strategies and techniques. Mitigate fear, conflict, and aggression while creating a Culture of Safety.

Training through AVADE®

ALTA Bilingual Certification

This program provides language access in a healthcare setting, improves patient experience, and develops the medical interpreter profession.

KVH is excited to sponsor individuals looking to become certified in the ALTA program to recognize your skills as a bilingual professional. This is an excellent opportunity to become accredited with one of the industry’s leading language providers.
