The Emergency Department at KVH Hospital has a total of nine patient beds and offers a full complement of emergency patient services. Ouchless ER services for pediatric patients. Trained nurse examiners provide medical care and collect evidence in cases of sexual assault.
We are designated as a Level IV trauma service by the Washington State Department of Health and provide 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week emergency physician coverage by board-certified ED providers.
All emergency department personnel, including nurses and physicians, receive ongoing training keeping them current with the latest standards in emergency medicine.
