Update 09.14.2021
Dear KVH Patient:
This time last year we reached out letting you know that Kittitas Valley Healthcare (“KVH”) made the difficult decision to no longer contract with Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington effective December 31, 2021.
If you are insured through Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington we wanted to remind you that after December 31, 2021 KVH Hospital, physicians, clinics and all other non-emergent services will be considered out-of-network for people insured through Kaiser.
If you have secondary insurance through Kaiser Health Plan of Washington, Kaiser has assured us that they will continue to process secondary claims in accordance with your benefit plan.
If you have questions regarding health plan coverage at KVH we invite you to call 509-962-7303 and we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you for being a patient of KVH. We apologize for this inconvenience and look forward to continuing to serve you.

Update 10.27.2020 – The Washington State Healthcare Authority (HCA) contacted KVH and Kaiser Permanente and requested that we revise our contract termination date from July 31, 2021 to December 31, 2021. The HCA is the entity responsible for health plan offerings for Public Employees (PEBB) and School Employees (SEBB) throughout our state. KVH has agreed to the extension which means that patients can select a Kaiser product knowing that KVH will be in-network for all of 2021. KVH will use the additional time to encourage the HCA to expand the insurance product offerings in Kittitas and other rural counties. On October 26, Kaiser Permanente and Kittitas Valley Healthcare agreed to change the contract termination date to 12/31/2021.
KVH Contract Termination of Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington
Dear KVH Patient:
Kittitas Valley Healthcare (“KVH”) has made the difficult decision to no longer contract with Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington effective December 31, 2021. After July 31, 2021 KVH Hospital, physicians, clinics and all other non-emergent services will be considered out-of-network for people insured through Kaiser.
If you have secondary insurance through Kaiser Health Plan of Washington, Kaiser has assured us that they will continue to process secondary claims in accordance with your benefit plan.
We recognize that many employers offer Kaiser as one of their health plans so we are working closely with these employers in selecting plans to preserve in-network access to KVH hospital, KVH physician clinics and other non-emergent services during the fall 2020 enrollment period. We wanted to let you know about the change before your employer’s open enrollment begins.
For those who purchase their health insurance through the Exchange, we have provided some contacts for people who, at no cost to you, can explain your health plan options in Kittitas County.
