Philosophy of Practice
As a family physician, I enjoy taking care of families – children and adults – across generations and over lifespans. I am passionate about the importance of a healthy lifestyle, and enjoy discussing nutrition, exercise, and the avoidance of unhealthy alcohol use, tobacco and other substances.
I am also passionate about the benefits of vaccines, which have saved more lives over time than any other medical intervention.
I see my relationship with patients as a collaborative partnership to promote health and view good communication as a high priority.
Lastly, I enjoy working with my hands and perform a variety of in-office procedures, including vasectomy, treatment of skin diseases, and utilization of ultrasound to diagnose muscle and joint disorders. I perform therapeutic joint injections, often with ultrasound guidance.
