Philosophy of Practice

Providing high quality patient centered care, while working with a team of high quality interdisciplinary therapists to offer the most effective services to our patients is what I find most important in my field and working environment. I personally enjoy working with patients who have injuries to the hand or other portion of the upper extremity, providing splinting, strengthening programs, post-surgical rehab programs, or other services that they may need.

Overall I am passionate about providing meaningful changes in the lives of people who are struggling to cope with and injury or disease. Whether its providing a piece of equipment, or training patients in a strategy to compensate for a deficit, providing people with the tools to live their lives to the fullest and engage in the activites they would like to is what drew me to occupational therapy and what motivates me to continue in my field.
