KVH MASKING REQUIREMENTS
Per Washington State law, facial coverings are required in ALL KVH facilities, despite vaccination status.

KVH HOSPITAL
COVID-19 safeguards are in effect throughout the hospital.
Other exceptions may be made at the discretion of the KVH clinical care team.
Hospital Departments
Imaging and Laboratory Services
Patients arriving at the Hospital for Imaging or Lab Services are allowed (1) support person to accompany them.
Surgical Services
Patients arriving at the Hospital for Surgical Services are allowed (1) support person to accompany them.
Patient & Visitor Experience
Emergency Department
(1) visitor per patient, per day
Visitor Experience
Critical Care Unit (CCU) & Medical/Surgical Unit (Med/Surg)
Up to (2) visitors and/or support persons at a time

Family Birthing Place (FPB)
Up to (2) visitors and/or support persons at a time
Any patient who is COVID-19 positive, suspected or unknown is allowed (1) visitor support/person per day. This must be the same person for the entire stay.

Patients are allowed (1) support person to accompany them
KVH Café
Visitors who purchase food at the Hospital Café must take it “to-go” and eat it in the patient room.
KVH CLINICS & SPECIALTY SERVICES
Patients who are not COVID-19 suspect or positive are allowed one (1) designated support person, age 18 or older, to accompany them to their appointment.
