KVH Orthopedics has welcomed Dr. Ada Cheung and Reese Hosey as new providers in our clinic. The addition of Dr. Cheung and Reese brings the total number of healthcare providers at KVH Orthopedics to six. They join physicians Gary Bos and Tom Mirich along with physician assistants Jim Repsher and Dena Mahre.
For the past seven years, Dr. Cheung worked as an orthopedist at MultiCare Auburn Medical Center in Auburn, Washington. Prior to practicing in Washington, Dr. Cheung practiced in Virginia, Arizona and California for fourteen years. Dr. Cheung received a Bachelor of Science, with distinction, from Stanford University. She went on to receive her Medical Degree from Yale, and complete her residency at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. In her spare time, Dr. Cheung and her husband enjoy Formula 1000 open wheel race car driving.
Prior to joining KVH, Reese worked with Orthopedics Northwest for three years as a Certified Physician Assistant in Yakima. In addition to her training in orthopedics, Reese spent eight years at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital in a variety of roles, including a nurse residency coordinator, clinical nurse educator and as an RN in the Surgery Department. Reese received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Washington State University. She then graduated from the University of Washington School Of Medicine, MEDEX NW Physician Assistant Program. She is a member of the Washington Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. In her spare time, Reese enjoys coaching her teenage son’s baseball team and participating in a variety of sports.
