Orthopedics is a medical specialty that focuses on conditions of the musculoskeletal system. Orthopedists use both surgical and non-surgical methods to treat patients. They most commonly see patients with degenerative diseases, sports injuries, or broken bones. Dr. Mirich has special interests in sports medicine, treating patients with shoulder conditions such as rotator cuff tears and loose shoulders, and treating patients requiring hip or knee joint replacements.
