KVH Physical Therapy will expand its days of operation at KVH Family Medicine – Cle Elum, beginning November 24. This expansion of operations will make appointments available to patients four days per week, usually Mondays through Thursdays.
KVH Physical Therapy has offered appointments at KVH Family Medicine – Cle Elum twice per week since March 2014. The location has been staffed nearly exclusively by physical therapist Corey Williams. The expansion of operations will welcome physical therapist assistant Erin Krekling to the Cle Elum location.
“We continue to have a high demand for physical therapy services in the Cle Elum area,” according to Ken Kladnik, Director of Rehabilitation Services for KVH. “Since physical therapy typically requires multiple appointments over a short period of time, traveling out of the area for care can become quite a burden on patients. We’re pleased that we can help patients reduce their transportation time for appointments.”
The most common uses of KVH Physical Therapy services are for orthopedic injuries, recovering after an orthopedic surgery, and improving balance. Women’s health therapies are also common services for physical therapy. This can include treatment for incontinence and pelvic floor pain, which may stem from pregnancy or childbirth.
