Local medical professionals who provide women’s health care will come together for a discussion panel at KVH Hospital on October 19 from 6 to 7 p.m. Immediately after the panel discussion, attendees will have an opportunity to tour the new digital mammography suite.
In recognition of October as breast cancer awareness month and the introduction of digital mammography to Kittitas County, the panel will address common questions related to mammography and breast health screening. However, all questions related to women’s health will be welcome.
Panelists will include Dr. Ginger Longo of KVH Women’s Health, Dr. John Asriel of Community Health of Central Washington, and Megan Power, ARNP of KVH Family Medicine - Ellensburg.
The first 50 attendees will receive a small gift bag and all attendees may enter to win a $100 gift certificate to a local spa and salon. Light refreshments will be provided.
Questions about women’s health will be taken during the event or they may be submitted in advance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. The answers provided by the panel are for general information only. Specific questions about an individual’s personal health should be directed to their healthcare provider.
