Kittitas Valley Healthcare has selected an executive search firm to assist with the process of searching for a permanent Chief Executive Officer.
The selected firm, Passage and Associates LLC, is based in Washington State.
Passage and Associates LLC specializes in the recruitment of business executives. Jennifer Robinson, owner of Passage and Associates LLC, will be leading the search. She will be assisted by founder Jim Passage. Jim has the unique experience of having seen both sides of a healthcare executive search. He was formerly a member of the Board of Commissioners for Chelan County Public Hospital District No. 1 (Leavenworth).
In the coming weeks, Passage and Associates will work with the KVH Board of Commissioners to determine the minimum qualifications and characteristics for applicants to the chief executive officer position. The search firm will then solicit applications, with a particular emphasis on candidates who have experience in rural healthcare.
Candidates who pass the initial screening will be considered for interviews in the coming months.
“We want to ensure a thoughtful process that yields the best possible candidate for our district,” said Liahna Armstrong, President of the KVH Board of Commissioners. “The Board is committed to the meaningful inclusion of members of our community and employees during the CEO search process.”
The Board hopes to have a permanent CEO installed by mid-2017. The organization has been led by interim Chief Executive Officer Julie Petersen since late June 2016.
Updates on the search and information about the interview process will be released as they are available.
