Medical insurance
Provided through Healthcare Management Administrators (HMA). There are three options: a core plan, and two buy-up plans.  For the core plan, KVH pays all premiums for full-time employees; premiums for part-time employees are prorated. Employees who have a 0.6 FTE or greater are eligible to participate. Employees may elect to enroll their dependents at their own expense. Dependent coverage is partially subsidized by the hospital.

Dental insurance
Provided through Delta Dental of Washington. There are two options, a core and buy-up plan. The buy-up plan offers an additional $500 toward the annual maximum benefit, and an orthodontia benefit that pays 50% up to a maximum of $2,000. For the core plan, KVH pays all premiums for full-time employees; premiums for part-time employees are prorated. Employees who have a 0.6 FTE or greater are eligible to participate. Employees may elect to enroll their dependents at their own expense.

Flexible spending accounts
KVH offers a pre-tax savings program for daycare and medical expenses.
