2016 - Digital Mammography
The charitable focus of the 2016 Foundation Gala was to help bring Digital Mammography to Kittitas Valley Healthcare. Mammography is the most reliable method of finding breast cancer. It can find what you can’t see - and when breast cancer is detected at an early stage, patients will have more treatment options that are less invasive, with a higher chance of survival.
Thanks to the generosity of many donors Kittitas Valley Healthcare is in the process of implementing Digital Mammography. We anticipate having this service available to our community by the end of third quarter 2017.

2015 - Rapid Response Nurse Call System
In order to provide patients and the community with the best possible care, KVH needed to extend a single call system throughout the hospital. The updated system cut extra steps for the sender and unnecessary delays for the patient. The new system allows us to hear auditory and visually throughout the entire facility the importance of what is happening at that moment so that anyone working in any patient care area knows immediately where they need to go and why they need to go there. It gives clear detail to responders on what is needed. It helps improve care, and save lives.
